Education is one of the best ways to break the cycle of poverty.

The war-torn region of Ngai in Northern Uganda was in desperate need of quality education that is close by. Unlike the US, many children in this developing East African country had not been attending school. Costs were too high or the distance was too far to travel daily. Education is the best way to break out of the cycle of poverty. Even the most basic jobs in Uganda require secondary education test results (the equivalent of high school). A Christian primary school was built - Nimaro Education Centre - to provide affordable and convenient education in addition to more hands-on based learning.
